Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Canaan, Connecticut.

The role focuses on in-home outpatient rehabilitation for older adults, with a 40-hour work week, and a daytime shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You will evaluate and treat patients in the home or in assisted living settings, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote communication and swallowing functions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SLP license in the practicing state(s).
• Must possess or be eligible for the ASHA CCC-SLP, or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in the patient's home or in living facilities.
• Evaluate, treat, and develop individual speech-language treatment plans.
• Coordinate with the rehabilitation team and document care and progress.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, scheduling, and HIPAA requirements.
