Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Canaan, CT. The role involves evaluating and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders, with a focus on delivering evidence-based therapy and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Experience in Speech-Language Pathology; new grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Document progress and maintain EMR records.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Maintain safe environment and adhere to infection control.
• Engage in QA and ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
