Requirements include BLS and ASHA-SLP national certification with state licensing; 6 months minimum experience, new grads welcome. The position features a 40-hour work week and a 13-week duration.

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum experience; exceptional candidates with appropriate background may be considered.
• Must have ASHA-SLP Certification with state-specific licensing and BLS.
• SLP must stand and walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• ASHA, BLS, 2 Years (as stated in postings)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to families, teachers, or medical professionals as applicable.
• Maintain documentation following state/insurance guidelines.
