Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 17-week assignment in Houston, TX. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and document thoroughly in the EMR while enjoying competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and swallowing disorders across age groups
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings
• Document progress and maintain EMR records accurately
• Educate patients and families on therapy plans and exercises
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain safe treatment environment following infection control and safety standards
• Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices
