Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for a 26-week travel assignment in Hilo, HI. The role offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and a start date of 11/30/2026. You will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across age groups, in various settings.

LICENSE/CCCs required with state compliance and current BLS. Preferred are CCC, Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, and experience; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology as required.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred or required.
• Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Design individualized therapy plans based on evaluations.
• Document progress in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain infection control and safety during therapy sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and QA activities.
