Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat adults and geriatric patients with communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document findings accurately, and adhere to facility and regulatory standards.

Shift hours are 08:30-16:30, Monday through Friday, with 30 guaranteed hours per week on a 14-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CFY completed with CCC from ASHA and NJ SLP license.
• BLS certification may be required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Experience evaluating dysphagia and cognitive-communication disorders using standardized tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adults and geriatric patients with communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.
• Provide evidence-based interventions and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation teams and support safe discharge planning.
• Utilize standardized assessment tools when appropriate.
