Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a traveling Speech-Language Pathologist to help patients improve communication and swallowing disorders while exploring a new part of the country. This 13-week assignment places you in a hospital setting in Cumberland, MD, with a schedule of 5x8 days and daytime shifts.

You will carry out CFY- and CCC-backed clinical duties, require Maryland licensure, and may need BLS. The role offers housing reimbursement and comprehensive travel benefits for a rewarding

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completed CFY and CCC from ASHA.
• Active Maryland SLP license to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Experience evaluating and treating adult dysphagia and cognitive-communication disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide SLP services to patients in hospital settings.
• Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders (dysphagia) and cognitive-communication disorders.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to plan and implement treatment.
