Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Fargo, North Dakota. This 13‑week, 40‑hour per week position requires evaluating and developing care plans for patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments in an acute care setting.

The SLP will diagnose and treat disorders, create individualized therapy plans, perform screenings, educate patients and families, and ensure compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state‑specific licensing.
• SLPs should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
• BLS, BRPT (RPSGT), 1 Year
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit individualized patient needs.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
