Aufgaben

• Conduct speech, language, voice, and swallowing screenings and comprehensive evaluations.
• Obtain and review patient histories and assess communication abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Provide individual and group speech-language therapy to improve communication and swallowing.
• Evaluate and treat swallowing difficulties and propose appropriate strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and progress notes per policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab staff to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and staff on disorders and therapy techniques.
• Conduct staff training on identification and management of speech disorders.
• Coordinate services and schedule evaluations to ensure timely delivery of treatment.
• Supervise and provide clinical guidance to staff when assigned.
• Follow California licensing requirements and CDCR/CCHCS policies.
• Maintain professional boundaries in a correctional environment.
