Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. This role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and the chance to work with a dedicated clinical team in a dynamic travel setting.

The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and maintain detailed documentation in the EMR. Travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required or preferred.
• Current licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred or required by employer.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.
• Develop individualized therapy plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on strategies and home exercises to support communication.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
