Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 40-week assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, delivering individualized therapy in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Required licensure and BLS are required; preferred qualifications include a Master's in Speech Language Pathology and CCC-SLP.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master's Degree or higher of Speech Language Pathology.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Speech Language Pathology experience, but New Grads are welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
• Document progress clearly in the EMR and coordinate with care teams.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and quality assurance activities.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
