Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 26-week assignment in Soldotna, Alaska. The role offers a 36-hour work week with 12-hour shifts, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits as part of a supportive clinical team.

The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse ages, collaborating with interdisciplinary staff to implement individualized plans and ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license per state regulations (AK)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC)
• Preferred: CCC-SLP certification and Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders across diverse ages.
• Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluations and goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
