Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Homer, Alaska. This role focuses on inpatient acute care at a coastal CAH, with CCC-SLP and 2+ years in medical settings. You’ll work 40 hours per week, usually 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.

Housing is provided at no cost, or a housing per diem may be selected to suit your needs. Certification requires active Alaska SLP license; BLS; ASHA CCC-SLP; eligibility for travel

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification required and ASHA credentials must be active.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services in a critical access hospital setting, primarily inpatient acute care with potential outpatient support.
• Work 40 hours per week, typically 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.
