Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Homer, Alaska. The role requires an SLP license, CCCs, a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CPR certification, and at least one year of experience.

Travel, housing support, and competitive pay are included. Responsibilities include providing skilled speech therapy services, assessing patient needs, and setting achievable goals for communication and swallowing skills.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an SLP/CCC or in the process of licensure.
• At least one year of professional working experience.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• CCC's (Cerberus Clinical Competency/Credentials) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions per physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover communication and swallowing skills.
