Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Evergreen, Alabama. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing and treating communication and swallowing disorders across ages, with plan development and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active SLP license in Alabama or eligible for state licensure
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or higher
• CCC-SLP certificate preferred
• SLP experience welcomed; new grads encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across ages
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document progress and manage EMR records
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in therapy sessions
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
