Job Summary: Speech Language Pathologist (Acute Care)

• Provide speech-language pathology services within the Mohawk Valley Health System.
• Primary areas of care: inpatient hospital, acute rehab, and outpatient clinic settings.
• Responsible for patient coverage across various care settings as needed.
• Inpatient acute hospital experience preferred.
• Experience with video fluoroscopic swallow studies preferred (not required).
• Conduct swallowing bed evaluations (required).
• Flexible to move with patient loads and cover different settings as assigned.
• 8-hour shifts (8:00AM - 4:30PM); weekend rotation as determined by department need.
• Travel within a 75-mile radius required; local rate applies for those within 75 miles.
• Must have:
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• NY State Speech-Language Pathology License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Completion of clinical fellowship year
