Job summary

Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Redding, California. The position offers a 13-week assignment, 40 hours per week, and day shifts in a hospital setting.

As a travel SLP you will assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders, collaborate with healthcare teams, and educate patients and families while ensuring high-quality discharge planning and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CA licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' communication and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Implement interventions in various settings, including outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities.
