Job summary

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role is a 13-week contract with a 40-hour work week and a standard 8-hour shift, located in a SNF/LTC setting.

The candidate will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide skilled speech therapy services according to physician orders and must hold SLP-CCC and current CPR certification. Travel experience and licensure in the state are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or in process for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services / interventions per physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plans, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic goals for patients to develop or recover communication and swallowing skills.
• Candidate must be an SLP-CCC.
