Centra Healthcare Allied seeks a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a contract assignment in Cleburne, Texas, in an SNF/LTC setting. The clinician will provide skilled speech therapy services under physician orders and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve communication and swallowing goals.

Applicants must have an accredited degree, be licensed or in process for SLP licensure, hold CPR certification, and possess SLP-CCC status.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as an SLP or in the process of licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions per physician orders.

• SLP-CCC is required.

A great SNF / LTC is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist / SLP to join their growing team for a contract assignment!

• This is a contract position.
• Days schedule.
• This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP.
• Current CPR certification.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop, or recover, reliable communication and swallowing skills so that the patient can fulfill their educational, vocational and social roles
• Candidate must be an SLP-CCC.

Pay package is based on 8.0 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
