Job summary

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Wadesboro, North Carolina. The role is 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, for 13 weeks, starting 09/21/2026 at a SNF/LTC facility.

Applicants must have completed an accredited program and be licensed as an SLP or actively licensure in progress; SLP-CCC is required. This contract position offers an opportunity to work within an interdisciplinary team in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed SLP or in licensure process in current state.
• Candidate must be SLP-CCC.
• Experience in SNF/LTC settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs and develop plans of care for speech therapy interventions.
• Set goals for communication and swallowing that align with patient education, vocational and social roles.

A great SNF / LTC is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist / SLP to join their growing team for a contract assignment!

• This is a contract position.
• Days schedule.
• This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop, or recover, reliable communication and swallowing skills so that the patient can fulfill their educational, vocational and social roles
• Candidate must be an SLP-CCC.
