Position: Travel Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Gilbert, Arizona

Details: 13-week assignment, start date ASAP, pay $1983/week. Shift details to be inquired.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in accordance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA / ARC)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in speech-language therapy; new graduates are welcome to apply

Job Summary: The SLP evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across all ages, developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with healthcare teams and caregivers to improve patient outcomes.

Essential Functions:

1. Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using assessments and observations
2. Design and implement personalized therapy programs
3. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
4. Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
6. Maintain safety and infection control standards
7. Participate in quality assurance and professional development
8. Perform other duties within scope of practice
