Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Overland Park, Kansas. The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages, collaborating with a clinical team to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires a valid SLP license, BLS, and strong documentation in EMR. Master’s degree and CCC-SLP are preferred; travel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC-SLP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Design personalized therapy plans based on eval findings and goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and patient records.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
