Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Baker City, Oregon. This travel role requires 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts, and offers health insurance, licensing reimbursement, and a 401K match.

The position covers pediatric to older adult patients with evaluation and treatment needs. Responsibilities include therapy delivery, progress documentation, and coordination with the care team, while ensuring patient safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Speech Language Pathologist.
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology (accredited/ASHA requirements).
• Independent decision making skills.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to pediatric to older adult patients.
• Evaluate and treat patients to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate patient progress to supervisor and team; assist with scheduling and post charges.
