Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Baker City, Oregon. The right SLP should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged.
• ASHA-SLP National Certification with state licensing.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to appropriate parties and document following guidelines.
