TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist in Middletown, Rhode Island. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments in acute care, across diverse populations.

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Middletown, RI. The right SLP should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.

As an SLP, you will be responsible for assisting patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments and evaluating and developing a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.

Tasks

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Requirements

Speech-Language Pathologists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. SLPs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
