Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Rutland, Vermont. The position runs 17 weeks with 35 hours per week and seven-hour daytime shifts, designed for an immediate start in a travel capacity.

Ideal candidates have ASHA-SLP certification, BLS, and state licensure, with 6 months to 1 year of experience; exceptional new grads may be considered. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and timely medical documentation.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate travel opening in Rutland, VT. The right SLP should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.

Tasks

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.

Requirements

Speech-Language Pathologists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. SLPs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
