TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Margate, FL. The role requires 40 hours per week, days shift, travel employment, and immediate start with ASHA SLP certification and BLS.

Experience: 6 months minimum, 1 year preferred; new grads may apply. State licensure required. Documentation, patient education, and collaboration with families and professionals are key parts of the job.

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Margate, Florida.

We are looking for a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate travel opening in Margate, FL. The right SLP should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.

Tasks

As an SLP, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing.

Speech‑Language Pathologists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. SLPs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
