Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Bryan, Ohio. The role is 13 weeks long, 40 hours per week, days shift, with a travel employment type. Imperatives include ASHA-SLP certification and state licensure, and the ability to stand/walk for long periods.

Experience: minimum 6 months preferred; new grads are welcome to apply. BLS required. Pay package is role-based with prorated stipends where applicable.

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Bryan, Ohio.

We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate travel opening in Bryan, OH. The right SLP should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.

Tasks

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing.

Speech-Language Pathologists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. SLPs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
