Aya Healthcare is seeking a Special Education Teacher Mod/Severe in Lompoc, CA to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. You will collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment and adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Active state teaching certification with Special Education Endorsement issued by DOE.
• Experience with IEPs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students' unique needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor student progress regularly and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant educational policies and legal requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities to enhance instructional effectiveness.
