Job summary

New York Technology Partners is seeking a Travel Specialist to grow into a key role managing executive travel. The position starts with day-to-day travel coordination, research, itinerary prep, and presentation development, with progression toward ownership of high-level travel within 6–12 months.

The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of experience, a strong interest in travel and logistics, and familiarity with Navan or similar platforms.

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of professional experience preferred; exceptional recent graduates will be considered.
  • Strong interest in travel, logistics, operations, or executive support.
  • Experience with Navan is highly preferred; experience with a similar travel management platform is also valuable.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and comfort working within established presentation templates.

Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination of domestic and international travel for executives and leadership.
  • Use Navan to assist with booking, organizing, and managing travel arrangements.
  • Prepare travel itineraries and executive travel materials.
  • Create and update PowerPoint presentations using established templates to provide executives with clear, organized travel information.
  • Research flights, hotels, ground transportation, and other travel logistics.
  • Maintain accurate traveler information, preferences, loyalty programs, and travel documentation.
  • Assist with last-minute itinerary changes, delays, cancellations, and other travel-related issues.
  • Communicate professionally with executives, internal teams, travel providers, and vendors.
  • Identify and resolve travel issues quickly and proactively.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail across multiple travelers and itineraries.
  • Learn the company’s travel processes and gradually take ownership of increasingly complex executive travel.
  • Become a primary resource for executive travel coordination and real-time travel support as experience and responsibilities grow.

During the first 6–12 months, the focus will be on learning the company’s travel operations, Navan, executive preferences, and internal processes. As the individual gains experience and demonstrates strong judgment and reliability, they will gradually take on ownership of executive travel and more complex logistics.


The long-term goal is for this person to become a trusted expert and take ownership of high‑level executive travel, including supporting leadership during time‑sensitive or after‑hours travel situations.

Job Description

Over time, the goal is for this person to take ownership of executive travel and become the primary point of contact for high‑level travel coordination, potentially within the first 6–12 months.


This is a growth‑oriented role with significant opportunity for increased responsibility and compensation as the individual develops and begins supporting travel outside of standard business hours.
