Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a travel assignment in Birmingham, AL. You will support K-12 students with special education needs under the direction of the program administrator and collaborate with general education staff to plan and implement individualized student programs.

The position requires a bachelor's degree, valid state teaching certification, and a preference for LBS1 endorsement; CPR/health clearances and compliance with all standards are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university is preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations.
