Aya Education is hiring a Special Education Teacher in Stanton, MI to support students for the 26/27 school year. A Bachelor’s degree and active state certification with a Special Education Endorsement (DOE) are required. Experience with IEPs is preferred.

You will design and implement IEPs, collaborate with general education teachers and families, adapt instruction for diverse learners, and monitor progress. Aya offers comprehensive benefits and a strong support network.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Active state teaching certification with Special Education Endorsement issued by DOE required.
• Experience with IEPs preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate various learning styles.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate with stakeholders.
• Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Participate in team meetings, PD sessions and school activities.
