Job summary

Sweetwater Care seeks an experienced Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment, image internal structures, and assist in diagnostic workflows. You will prepare patients, obtain high-quality images, and document findings for physicians’ review.

The role requires ARDMS certification or valid licensure, 6+ months of experience, and strong communication in a fast-paced hospital setting. Travel stipends may be provided for relocation support.

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Sonographer.
• ARDMS certification.
• Minimum of 6 months of sonography experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of specified body parts.
• Position patients correctly for various ultrasound procedures according to established protocols.
• Perform basic image interpretation and documentation.
• Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment and rooms.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
