Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week travel assignment in Yuma, CO. The role involves performing gen/vascular ultrasound exams, prepping patients, and collaborating with a clinical team to support diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include completion of an accredited ultrasound program, 1 year of experience, BLS certification, and a valid license.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patient to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort.
• Perform general and vascular sonography examinations and interpret results.
