Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. The role involves performing gen/vascular ultrasound studies, preparing patients, and ensuring high-quality imaging while complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patient to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort.
• Perform sonography examinations of general and vascular studies and evaluate image quality.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment for safety and compliance.
