Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Leesburg, VA. The role focuses on Gen/Vascular imaging, with 40 hours per week and an 8-hour shift, providing opportunities to advance patient care and clinical skills.

The ideal candidate will have a completed Ultrasound program, one year of recent experience, an active BLS card, and a valid state license. ARDMS/ARRT credentials are preferred to enhance opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate diagnostic imaging into patient care plans.
• Prepare and position patient to ensure accurate imaging and comfort.
• Perform sonography exams of general and vascular studies.
• Evaluate images for clarity and accuracy.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
• Maintain patient records per regulatory standards.
