Zusammenfassung

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Traverse City, MI. This 13-week opportunity offers 35 hours per week, with dayshift coverage and a 7-hour shift structure designed for an acute care setting.

The role requires ASHA-SLP certification, BLS, and state licensing. New grads are welcome if they meet certification criteria and readiness for travel.

Qualifikationen

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged.
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
