AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based role in Wailuku, HI. The SLP will assess and treat students, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers to integrate therapy into classroom activities.

The position requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, valid SLP license, and ASHA CCC. Experience in school or pediatrics is preferred. Travel housing and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
• State SLP license in the state of residence.
• CCC from ASHA (ASHA-certified Clinical Competence).
• Previous experience in School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals for students with speech and language needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on integrating therapy goals into the classroom.
