Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 37-week travel assignment in Lanham, MD. The role involves evaluating and treating speech and swallowing disorders across ages, with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans, document progress in the EMR, and educate patients and families. Travel assignments include a comprehensive benefits package and support from clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Valid license for Speech-Language Pathology per state rules.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required or higher.
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in Speech-Language Pathology; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Document progress and maintain EMR accuracy.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain safe and compliant treatment environments.
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities.
