Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist for an assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. The clinician will provide skilled speech therapy services, assess patients, and coordinate care with the treatment team to improve communication and swallowing outcomes.

The position runs 40 hours per week on day shifts for 13 weeks, with travel housing or a housing allowance and comprehensive benefit options.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an SLP / CCCs eligibility or active licensure in progress.
• At least one year of professional experience.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current CPR certification.
• CCC's required.
• Client facility may add additional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover communication and swallowing skills.
