Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Grantsboro, NC. The SLP will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements include NC licensure and BLS; a Master’s Degree and CCC-SLP are preferred. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and veterans support are provided through a clinician-focused program.

Qualifications

• Valid SLP license in NC or eligible
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
• CCC-SLP certification preferred
• Speech-Language Pathology experience preferred; new grads welcome

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing across diverse ages.
• Design personalized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Monitor progress and document in EMR with detail and accuracy.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards during therapy sessions.
• Engage in professional development and quality assurance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
