Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 12-week assignment at a facility in Friendship, WI. The SLP will evaluate and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders across age groups, with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered goals.

You will work with a dedicated clinical team, receive competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, and support from Fusion’s recruitment and clinical teams throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master's Degree or higher of Speech Language Pathology.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology."

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Document progress in electronic medical records and adjust treatment as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and home exercises.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Maintain infection control and safety during therapy sessions.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
