Job summary

Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel School Speech Language Pathologist for a 33-week assignment in Salisbury, North Carolina. This on-site role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and a school setting.

You will assess students' communication needs, develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapy to improve speech and language skills, and collaborate with teachers and families to support educational goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• NC licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' communication needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy to improve speech, language, and social communication skills
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support students' educational goals
• Educate staff on strategies to accommodate students with speech and language challenges
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Implement interventions within the classroom setting to enhance communication
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
