Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based travel assignment in Clackamas, Oregon. You will evaluate students and provide and document therapy services according to each student’s plan of care and physician orders.

Active state licensure as an SLP is required; CCC-SLP is preferred or may be required by contract. Additional requirements include CPR, a health certificate, and compliance with federal, state, and local rules.

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of assignment
• CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by state/contract
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
