Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Prescott, AZ, starting 11/09/2026. The role offers 32 guaranteed hours per week with day shifts on a 8x4 schedule in a long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Arizona SLP license or is eligible ( ETA ) and has experience with geriatric populations. Housing assistance and ongoing recruiter support are provided during this travel assignment.

Qualifications

• Arizona license as Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility with ETA (license submission/ETA required).
• Ability to work in a long-term care setting.
• Experience with geriatric or long-term care populations preferred.
• Availability to begin on 11/09/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment.
• Willingness to travel to Prescott, AZ for the duration of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and cognitive assessments for residents in a long-term care setting.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Deliver direct therapy and supervise related therapy activities; document progress in patient records.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize communication and swallowing outcomes.
• Monitor safety, infection control standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate progress and treatment plans with residents, families, and caregivers; participate in care conferences as required.
