American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for an acute care hospital setting requiring at least 1 year of hospital experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities include evaluations, Modified Barium Swallow studies, and documentation per Medicare guidelines. The role may float between sister facilities; local candidates within 50 miles may receive a lower bill rate.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year hospital experience required.
• Compact SLP license required at submission time.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Voice/Resonance, Acoustic Analysis, and Nasoendoscopy.
• Experience with Videostroboscopy and Voice Prosthesis preferred.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred.
• Experience with dysphagia management including bedside swallow, MBSS, Passy Muir valves, and trach/vent care.
• Knowledge of evaluation tools such as WAB, CELF, and PICA preferred.
• Experience with Medicare A and B documentation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language and swallowing evaluations for adults.
• Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
• Document assessments, treatments, discharge plans, and reassessments per Medicare guidelines.
• Utilize adaptive and augmentative communication devices as needed.
• Collaborate with care teams on patient safety and care plans.
• May float to sister facilities near contracted location.
• Provide therapy during 8:30 AM–5:00 PM day shift.
• Commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays.
