Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Red Bluff, California. The role requires 40 hours per week and a 10-hour daytime shift as a travel position.

The ideal candidate has 6 months of experience (1 year preferred), BLS, ASHA-SLP National Certification, and state licensure. Responsibilities include evaluating and planning care for patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience; 1 year preferred.
• BLS certification and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state licensing required.
• New grads encouraged to apply.
• Ability to stand and perform clinical tasks with pediatric and adult populations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, assess, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
• Report progress to appropriate parties with timely documentation.
• Follow state and insurance guidelines for documentation and care.
