Job summary

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a contract assignment in Grandview, Missouri. The role features a 13-week duration, 40 hours per week, and 8-hour shifts in a SNF/LTC setting.

The ideal candidate is an SLP-CCC with current state licensure or licensure in progress and CPR certification, ready to join an interdisciplinary care team focused on patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as an SLP or in process for licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
• Set goals for patients to develop or recover communication and swallowing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions per physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care for speech therapy goals.
• Set realistic goals to develop or restore communication and swallowing abilities.
