Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Anchorage, Alaska. The SLP evaluates and treats communication and swallowing disorders, delivering tailored therapy across diverse settings with a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist licensure per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred).
• Current CCC-SLP certification (preferred).
• Experience in speech-language pathology preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across ages.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers to improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safety in swallowing.
• Coordinate care with healthcare teams to support comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards during therapy.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement activities.
