Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Marshalltown, Iowa. The role runs for 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour days.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of experience or 6 months for exceptional backgrounds, ASHA-SLP certification with state licensing, and BLS. The SLP will evaluate and plan care for patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Must have ASHA-SLP National Certification
• ASHA certification and state licensure are required
• BLS certification is required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings and document progress per guidelines.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and causes.
